Chris Capcara has previously worked with a Cleveland, Ohio law firm as an associate in its energy and real estate groups and a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania law firm as senior counsel in its energy and natural resources group.
Throughout his decade long career in the industry, Chris has counseled various energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients on a wide range of matters, including title examination, title defect curative work, due diligence, and oil and gas leasing issues across the Appalachian Basin. Chris has experience with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ statutory unitization process. Chris has obtained successful judgments for clients in ownership disputes involving the Ohio Dormant Mineral Act and the Ohio Marketable Title Act.
Chris is a member of the Northern Appalachian Landman’s Association (NALA) and the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of the AAPL.
