Dan graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law and obtained his Oklahoma license in 2001. He obtained his Texas license in 2009.
Dan started his law career as a litigator. In 2006, he began a transition into the oil and gas industry as a Landman. Since 2006, Dan has worked as both an independent contractor and in-house Landman. Prior to his return to the practice of law in early 2019, Dan drilled approximately 200 horizontal allocation wells in the Permian Basin. Dan is a Desert Storm Marine combat veteran and resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
