Mr. Connolly began his career in the energy industry in 2010 as a courthouse imager with Reagan Resources in OKC after graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 with an MBA concentrated in Energy and Finance.
He then began working his way up to Director of Business Development prior to accepting an in-house position in Denver at QEP Energy Company in August of 2016 as a Senior Landman. He was most currently working QEP’s Bakken assets in North Dakota, specifically the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. He also has previous experience in the Permian Basin in West Texas and the Midcon in Central Oklahoma.
David is an active member in the Oil & Gas community and serves as Secretary of the Board of the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen (“DAPL”) and as the Co-Chair of DAPL’s Networking Committee, on which he has served since late 2015. He has been a DAPL member since 2015 and an AAPL member since 2012.
