Neal began his career as a field landman in the Barnett Shale before moving in-house with Occidental Petroleum Corp.
Through several years and various Land roles at Oxy, Neal gained valuable experience working Oxy’s assets in the Bakken, Marcellus, Piceance, Delaware and Midland Basins. Most recently, Neal served as Vice President of Land and Business Development for Lilis Energy, Inc. in the Delaware Basin. Neal earned his B.B.A. from Baylor University and M.B.A. from the University of Houston and holds a Certified Professional Landman designation with the A.A.P.L.
