In the years since, he has served as in-house counsel or represented a number of public and privately-owned companies in a wide variety oil and gas matters. Russell has authored hundreds of opinions including drilling and highly detailed division order title opinions; drafted various oil and gas agreements including purchase and sale agreements, oil and gas leases, assignments, and surface use agreements; worked on acquisition due diligence projects; reviewed and drafted real property and title curative documents; and provided legal representation in probate and estate administration matters and quiet title suits.
A native Oklahoman, Russell was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but now calls Oklahoma City his home. When he’s away from the office, you will likely find him in the middle of another home improvement project or being taken for a walk by his two dogs, Gus and Finley.
