Alex Kuiper, Kuiper Law Firm’s Managing Partner, will offer a brand-new oil and gas skills course at South Texas College of Law this summer and at the University of Houston Law Center this fall.  The class, which will be offered as a practical skills class at STCL and a simulation class at UH, will offer a detailed examination of the oil and gas lease as the building block of the entire oil and gas industry.  Students will learn the practicalities of drafting and interpreting oil and gas leases, and the real-world implications of lease provisions and language.

Kuiper, a STCL alumnus, has nearly 10 years of oil and gas legal experience and law licenses in four different states.  Kuiper is excited to bring his experience to his alma mater and prepare new lawyers to enter this ever-changing industry.
